How long does a clean project usually take?

This will depend upon the project size. We have cleared yeards in less than 30 minutes or spend three days cleaning a large house. A timeframe can be provided from experince of simular projects at the point of providing a quote. Timeframes can also be reduced if more staff are used and/ or the client wishes for a quick turn around. This is most notible in void cleans.

Do i need to be present during the clean?

This will entirely depend upon your preferences. We have had many cleaning projects where the client has helped out looking for memorabilia or offered direction. However we have also had cases whereby tennats have been served with a formal notice and works in default have ensued, in this case some tenants have hindered progress and been obstructive. This unfortunately makes cleaning difficult and take longer but we get there.

I have pets, will this be a problem?

We love pets, especially dogs! We also have to protect our employees and request that any animals are removed securley from the cleaning area. We usually request these pets are removed to another room and then a rotational clean is acheived. Many clients take there dogs out or leave them with family and friends.

What areas do you cover?

We would love to cover the world but we have limits. We usually have to mobilise at short notice and we have therefore committeed to work in the Westmorland & Furness area. However we are happy to have enquiries beyond this remit, send us a request and we will try and work with you.

Can i pay in installments?

We understand that paying for cleaning can be difficult, especially in todays climate. We can consider payment installments over 4 months. Please contact us for a bespoke chat and tell us what you need. 

What if i need to cancel at short notice?

We understand that emeregncies and issues arise beyond our control. We usally request a cancellation 48hrs in davance of an arranged date, however we would just request for you to contact us as sooon as posible. We are happy to rearrange for free where needed.

What if i am not satisfied with the cleaning?

We hope you are but understand that we are human and can make mistakes too. Contact us and we will endeavor to put the wrong right!

We also have a complaints procedure which we can send clients upon request.

What does your insurance cover?

We hold 10 million Employers liability insurance and 1 Million Public Liability Insurance for the work we do. Our insurance provider Allianz has provided our entitlement downloadable on 'Our Work' tab. 

Do you have an emergency after hours call out number?

All calls and messages are monitored frequently, however in the event that we cannot get to the phone, there is provision to leave a message. While we can respond to emergency calls, it may not be possible to mobolise a team a short notice.

How do i pay for the cleaning?

You can pay in cash, BACS or credit card. Alterantive payment options can be requested upon further contact.

Once the project is complete, an itemised bill will be sent out within 24hrs. The payment terms are strictly 30 days.

Do you offer standard house cleaning or maid services?

How much does it cost to clean a semi?

Assuming a semi has 6 rooms, 2 halls and a bathroom and needs cleaning with a large amount of petresible waste to be removed, an approximate quote would be: (3 Cleaners@ 6 hrs/ overheads & waste disposal @80 bags) = £807 No Vat. 

If a rear yard was to be cleaned with dog faeces covering most surfaces, this would be: (2 Cleaners @ 1.5hrs/ Overheads & Waste disposal @ 10 bags) = £294 no vat.

A proper survey and quote is key for a competitive rationale.

Do you carry out pest control as well?

Im sorry we dont but we have worked closely with Furness Environmental services and Pied Piper Northern for many years and trust their expertise. Im afraid it can be a game of chicken and egg. We may have to clean a property before pest control can lay bait but their are circumstances where pest control has to be implimentetd first, especially in cases of rodent infestations.

We do hold key aerosol equipment such as bug bombs (total realease foggers) to be used in cases where fleas or other invertebrates are present.

When are you available to carry out a free survey and quote?

Simply call us you will be surprised. We try and get out the same day but we can work around your schedule to meet you on site. We have had landlords contact us from further afield and in these instances we have agreed to quote on pictures provided of the premises. While not ideal we can adapt.

Do i need to supply water & electricity?

Our equipment does need electricty but we can source an alternative supply via a generator if needed. We do carry our own water but provision on site is definately advantageous.

Electricty is needed for lighting, cleaning machinary and a brew!

Hotwater is also essential.

Do i need to supply cleaning products?

No not at all, to ensure proper COSHH we use appropriate fluids that have been specifically diluted or strenghened for the project. Knowing what we use is essential so that we are better protected and can better protect you.

Are there any grants i can apply for?

We are not currently aware of any grants for minor house cleaning. Westmorland and furness do offer Disabled Facilities Grants which can require some cleaning but this is limited and citreria based. Each Authority has a statutory duty to inspect properties that may be prejuditial to the occupants health. In some cases 'work in default' is request to clean a property but a charge is placed on the property to cover the costs.

We will keep looking and update this as and when something becomes available.

Do you offer gift vouchers or cards?

Not at the moment, we do have facilities to offer vouchers but this is a future asperiaration of ours as well as an online shop for cleaning products and equipment.

Are there any discounts?

We do not offer discounts, we simply quote the lowest price possible leaving you with an open and transparent quoting syetem.

Its not my house its my mothers, can i request a clean on her behalf?

Unfortunately dispite your good intention, we do need the permission of the premises owner to clean then property reagrdles of who pays. In some circumstances we have accepted an order from a relative who had a legal lasting power of attorney. Having experince in this area, we can best advise what needs to be in place and when.

Where does your waste go?

We have registered accounts at waste transfer stations across the area and these are used dependant upon where the project takes place. In some circumstances we segrgate waste to ensure as much as possible is recycled such as wood, furniture and clothe's etc.

Unfortunately due to recent changes, soft furnishings have to be charged seperately, ie. £50 per chair for disposal. Therefore if it cannot be recycled, this will be have to be charged accordingly.
